MOTOR, MOTOR, MOTOR

Beyond Function is trained in Kinesio Taping, a method used in pediatrics to help kids develop motor skills. It may be an option before trying splinting or other more invasive methods of muscle tone management. We have seen some remarkable results in kids with motor challenges caused by cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and a myriad of other motor challenges.

“I guess the tape is working!!! She was standing like this with me not touching her for 30 or more seconds at a time!!! She would collapse and try really hard to get back up!” – C’s Mom

*In addition to the tape shown here, C’s front upper thighs were taped as well.
